Yogi von Zuma is an adorable 4 year old Spaniel, Golden, Sheltie, Shepherd, your guess mix! He is about 35-40 pounds of fur and love! We do know that he is sweet and mellow, walks like a dream on the leash, just wants to follow you and sit by your feet kind of guy. At an adoption event, his whole body would wag when he saw a child, no dog bothered him in the slightest. A volunteer kept him overnight before she brought him to the kennel.  Yogi was no threat to any of her dogs, even several who normally would challenge a new dog, Yogi just exudes non-dominance, love and let live spirit.  Walking him is like not having a dog on the end of the leash, anyone could walk him. Yogi met a cat and was very polite and respectful. Besides wanting to be your shadow, Yogi likes to bury his head in your lap. He is very good in the car, hops right in and goes to sleep. Yogi was great when he was getting groomed. One of the volunteers called him “an old soul”, he really is something special. We think Yogi is pretty perfect, he would be wonderful for someone who wants a devoted companion but doesn’t have the time or ability to do lots of exercise and training. Yogi is ready made to walk right in and be your perfect boy!
